Transfer to Mailchimp and Ecomail
Owner configuration, the right list, and a clear transfer status.
The owner manages the connection
Open email integrations in Settings. The workspace owner enters the key; do not share it in a contact note, feedback, or public URL. The app stores it encrypted, and the normal interface should not reveal its full value.
- Connect a supported tool and load the available lists.
- Choose a destination list that matches the purpose of collection.
- Review transfer status and any errors before manually syncing existing contacts.
A transfer is not a campaign
The integration transfers addresses people supplied themselves. It does not send marketing campaigns or create newsletter consent. Mailchimp preserves an existing contact’s status; a new contact is not automatically subscribed. Ecomail receives new contacts as unsubscribed; existing records are not updated and autoresponders are not triggered.
Errors and disconnecting
Check the actual result, not just a saved form. If a transfer fails, check the key and destination list and use the available retry action. Disconnecting a tool does not erase data the tool has already received.
